Because every 30 seconds another person becomes a victim of human trafficking.
I've just realized how the world is, in and around me. I am encouraged to share what I have come to know about human trafficking; not because I was a victim or I know anyone involved but because I strongly felt that awareness should be enhanced and possible solutions be created. Everyone of us have a purpose in life and I'm on my way to find it.
Human trafficking is the modern day slavery. They are illegal everywhere but they still occur everywhere. Human Trafficking happens in nearly every country in the world, developing or developed countries. We are now living in a world where Human Trafficking is the fastest growing criminal enterprise. 75% Of Human Trafficking is for sexual exploitation and are female including 4 yr old kids; however even male are trafficked. The average age of the victim is 12. And over 50% of all Human Trafficking victims are children. These individuals are forced to work every single day without pay, under threat of violence, and they’re unable to escape. There's no access for them to run once they are trapped in those malicious circumstances. You can find them in brothels, factories, mines, farm fields, restaurants, construction sites and private homes. They are forced to do things that they had never imagined before and they are treated like animals. They don’t know what it feels like to be loved and respected, to have dignity and to have a secure feeling like we do.

After seeing the documentary of Christine Caine, an Australian pastor, activist, evangelist, and international speaker, I was thrilled by her extreme efforts to run the A21 campaign which not only protects the surviving victims but also teams up with forces to rescue the victims from intense critical areas of worse hit countries.
Christine along with nick founded the A21 campaign in 2008 to end human trafficking. With 10 offices in 9 countries they are picking up speed with God's grace and mercy. Their sole aim is to spread awareness, to protect trafficked victims in their shelters and transition homes, to prosecute traffickers and strengthen the legal response to human trafficking, and to partner with law enforcement, individuals, corporations, official bodies, and other non-governmental organisations to end human trafficking in the 21st century.
Christine Caine: ABUSED BUT NOT DEFEATED.
This Hillsong Bible teacher overcame a childhood of sexual abuse to become a fearless crusader for Christ in the fight against human trafficking.
